Mission

The Ministry’s mission is to support economic development, innovation and exports as well as research by fostering commitment co-ordination and consultation of various actors in the economic, scientific, social and cultural fields for the purpose of creating jobs, economic prosperity, scientific development and sustainable development.

The Ministry’s mission is to be found mainly in the following areas: - creating references and strategies on economic development, innovation and exports;
-  offering advisory services in its areas of expertise, with respect to its clientele as well its partners and execution of studies and analyses that support these services; 
- implementing and setting up, directly or through its partners, measures and programs in its areas of activities;
- promoting Quebec’s image and advantages to foreign investors;
- consultation and mobilisation of its private and public partners.
