Charlevoix stands above the regional scene because of its qualified labour force. The region offers excellent training facilities and its costs are competitive in comparison to all other parts of Quebec. In fact, Charlevoix can rely on a qualified workforce, comparable to that of the United States but at much lower costs, despite fluctuations of the Canadian dollar with respect to the American standard. Health and employment insurance premiums are much more expensive in the United States.
